WHO AM I?
Well that’s a very good question. Quite frankly, that’s something I’ve been trying to figure out my entire life, and to be honest I still haven’t quite figured it out completely, but I think I’m getting closer. Here’s what I’ve come up with so far.
I’m a Kenyan girl (or should I say young lady?) currently living in Belgium. I was pretty much born and raised in Kenya. I moved to Belgium on a cold January morning of the year 2008, at the age of 14 and haven’t yet been back to Kenya ever since then. I do however plan on going back to visit very very soon. I have a lot of interests, including modelling, reading and working out. I have always had a deep passion for fashion and modelling. Nevertheless, I happen to be a very realistic person and that’s why I only view modelling as a hobby, other than a career path. That’s why despite the fact that I have a degree in Business Management and Marketing, I’m currently excited to pursue a career in Consultancy.
In my 23 years of existence, I have learnt a lot about myself, the people around me and about life in general. The experiences and challenges I’ve faced have helped me develop a never-give-up mind-set. I cherish all of the experiences that I’ve had so far and as I continue to explore new opportunities and ventures, I hope to uncover new strengths and opportunities that will ultimately help define my personal growth as well as my professional growth.
Over the years my goals and interests have changed and been refined, but my initial purpose has stayed the same: to inspire others to pursue their dreams, regardless of the situation they’re in. And that’s what I hope to accomplish with this blog. I’ll mainly focus on my experiences in the world of modelling, I’ll share my fitness journey with you and I’ll talk about normal day-to-day topics, ranging from Fashion and Self-development, to Food and Health.
Thanks for stopping by and reading. It’s very much appreciated and I look forward to connecting with you.
PS. Feel free to suggest other topics of discussion!
